Ken and Ginny Savage bought their 1957 Bel Air Sport Coupe on eBay from Columbia, S.C., in 2002.
The car had been rescued by a high school auto shop class and sold to a paint shop in Columbia.
It was painted Candy Apple Red and the Savages, who live in Shelby Township, later added several upgrades.
They drive the car every day in the summer.
