Nissan uses scannable Quick Response (QR) codes on window stickers
Nissan’s using scannable Quick Response (QR) codes on the Monroney window stickers on all its 2012 model vehicles to provide additional information for shoppers from Web enabled iPhone, Android and Blackberry devices.
Rolled out in June, the kinds of information available through QR codes includes key features, available accessories, video-based product overviews, image galleries, incentive offers, and dealer inventories.
Customers can also request a quote, join mailing list and ask for dealer locations.
